Wow. After making my nervous debut as a public speaker at the recent WAY AGM (Widowed And Young) in front of 160 widows and widowers, where I received a standing ovation, and giving a talk yesterday in Glasgow at a workshop to increase awareness of child bereavement support within the educational and health sectors, organised by CBUK (Child Bereavement UK), I have just been asked to give a TEDx talk in Germany in May (I will be speaking in English). I feel absolutely overwhelmed that people continue to have faith in me, want to hear my story, and find what I have to say inspirational. Thank you all so, so much, from the bottom of my heart.

“Elke has managed to capture the difficult task of explaining death to very young children in a way that they can understand for their age and stage of development. This book is written with compassion in an honest powerful way. A beautiful book that will undoubtedly help so many, I would highly recommend it”Donna Hastings, Senior Practitioner, Richmond’s Hope Bereavement Project http://www.richmondshope.org.uk/
