Sorry we’ve been quiet – STILL waiting on that dummy mock-up, been chasing the printer, and meantime Alex has been diagnosed with narcolepsy and cataplexy – something I had suspected for a long time, but I’ve finally got a diagnosis.
This is a beautiful and sensitive book about a very difficult issue. Elke and Alex have shared their story with real feeling and honesty. I can think of no better way to communicate with a very young child about a sudden death and what follows in terms of funerals and continuing with life. This book will be highly recommended on our Winston’s Wish suggested reading list.Helen Mackinnon, Senior Practitioner, Winston’s Wish http://www.winstonswish.org.uk/
